Payment policy:
This Payment and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms of payment and the conditions under which refunds or cancellations are handled for travel packages and services booked through Sun and Fun, operated under Gaia Club Ltd.
1. Payment Policy
1.1 Deposit Requirement
A 30% deposit of the total package price is required to confirm your reservation. This deposit is paid securely online through our website.
Upon receipt of the deposit, a booking voucher will be issued by our licensed tour agent, Gaia Club Ltd.
1.2 Remaining Balance
The remaining 70% of the total package price is to be paid in cash (USD) upon your arrival in the Maldives.
Please ensure that the amount is prepared in U.S. dollars to avoid any delays at check-in.
1.3 No Prepayment Option
In special cases, no advance payment is required. In such cases, your valid flight ticket to the Maldives will serve as your booking confirmation.
This option is subject to prior agreement and is typically available during select promotions or for returning customers.
1.4 Payment Methods
Currently, we accept online payments for deposits via secure payment gateways.
Full card payment options are being implemented soon; updates will be provided on our website.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellations by the Client
Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before arrival for bookings with a paid deposit. A full refund of the deposit will be issued.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are non-refundable.
For bookings confirmed without a deposit (based on a flight ticket), please inform us as early as possible if you must cancel.
2.2 No-Shows and Early Departures
No-shows (failure to arrive) and early departures are not eligible for refunds.
Any unused portion of the travel package will be forfeited.
2.3 Changes to Bookings
We allow flexible changes to your itinerary, including swapping activities or excursions, subject to availability.
Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to make adjustments.
2.4 Cancellations by Sun and Fun
In the rare case that we must cancel your booking (e.g., due to unforeseen operational issues), you will be offered a full refund of all payments made, or an alternative arrangement of equal value.
2.5 Force Majeure
Cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, travel bans, etc.) will be handled on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the policies of our local partners and providers.
